School choice funding

School choice funding is a program provided or regulated by the state you live in that allows families to apply for access to public education funds. If approved, those funds follow your specific student — instead of going to your assigned public school district — giving families more options for their children's education, including private school and home school.

Utah Fits All Scholarship

Application for 2026-27 will open on April 1 for applicants who have not received the UFA scholarship before and on March 1 for returning students who already have UFA scholarships. The application window will close on May 1.

The Utah Fits All Scholarship Program provides up to $8,000 per student recipient through an education savings account (ESA). Scholarship accounts may be used for education expenses and services, including private school tuition and fees, tutoring services, testing fees, materials and curriculum costs, contracted services, and more. Please note that the UFAS ($8,000 per student) does not cover the entirety of the tuition obligation, so families should be prepared to pay the tuition balance. The tuition installments paid upfront serve as earnest money and will be applied in accordance with our policy for all families.

Online High School

A growing number of states now fund private and online school tuition directly, through education savings accounts and scholarship programs. American Heritage Online is approved in nine of them, which means an eligible family can enroll here and have their state pay the tuition.

Below is every program we are set up for and what it pays. Once your award is approved, schedule a call and we will apply your program’s discount to your registration, so you pay nothing out of pocket.
