Annual Fund

We rely on the Annual Fund each year to provide student financial aid to mission-fit families who would not otherwise be able to attend American Heritage School. The Annual Fund also provides teacher bonuses for our wonderful, dedicated teachers.

Any funds raised in excess of the $1M Annual Fund goal for 2026-27 will go toward the Endowed Scholarship Fund.

Facilities

Our Maintenance and Repair (M&R) Fund is dedicated to the ongoing upkeep and care of our school buildings and grounds.

WHY DONATE STOCK?

Tax advantages are available to donors who gift appreciated securities rather than cash. When appreciated securities are gifted to American Heritage School, the IRS allows the donor to deduct the fair market value of the security without assessing any taxes on the capital gains (i.e. the difference between the donor’s cost basis and the security’s fair market value). So, donations effectively cost a donor less if the donor gives appreciated securities rather than cash. Click here to see a hypothetical example of how this works. If you wish to donate appreciated securities, we have everything ready to facilitate the transfer. Please contact the Grant Beckwith, Head of School, at gbeckwith@ahsmail.com or (801) 642-0055 x1510.
